Crescent School District has valuable resources to assist with social and emotional health of our students.
Student Assistance Program:
Provides a wide variety of substance abuse education through prevention, intervention and recovery support services to students. The Student Assistance Professional provides information, guidance and support to students who are impacted by substance use, emotional stressors and mental health challenges. Melissa Thetford is the Student Assistance Professional assigned to Crescent, and her office hours are Tuesday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00 pm. Crescent United Coalition:
Our community-based coalition strives to help our youth be more informed about alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in order for them to make healthy decisions. Our coalition is proud to be one of many groups and organizations here in Joyce that is committed to supporting our families in ways that build a stronger and more connected community.
