Dear Crescent School District Community,
The Crescent School District is renewing its application for Federal Impact Aid, which assists local school districts that have lost property tax revenue due to the presence of tax-exempt federal property within their service area.
We have a number of “Federally Connected Students” in our attendance area. Federally connected students are defined as those who:
- Have a parent or guardian on active duty in the military;
- Live on Indian lands, in federal low-income housing, or on other federally owned property; or
- Live with a parent or guardian who works on federal property.
Public Hearing Details:
Date: Thursday, January 23
Time: 5:30 PM
Location: School Library or via ZOOM
In mid-January, the district will provide information about our programs and the participation of Native American students in those programs. This public hearing is one of the required steps in the Impact Aid application process.
If you have any questions before or after the release of the information, please contact Superintendent David Bingham at 360-928-3311 or [email protected].
We hope you can join us in person or via ZOOM to learn more and provide your input. A ZOOM link will be provided the week before the meeting.
Thank you,
David Bingham
Superintendent
